Take the Time to See the Flowers. Flowers flourish in the Eastern Townships where hedges, bushes, trees, and single stems grow in abundance in gardens and parks.
The artist Henri Matisse said, ” There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
On my organizational lens, it is being able to see the flowers through the shadows and dimly lit cluttered rooms that is a gift. The gift of a hopeful spirit that we can all access.
While we need focus to declutter, I suggest that before ‘digging out’, we look at the forest of stuff, room by room, and closet by closet for the treasures, and savour them for a moment before they are bagged or boxed for donation. There will always be flowers.
