Digital Photos

Memorabilia…collections of stuff that we want to keep, yet rarely display…

Often our little treasures are kept in shoe boxes, plastic bins, and in drawers – often packed full!

Here is a photo of a glass collection that my client, Cathy, was so happy to uncover during a recent organizing session. We found it in a shoebox as we sorted through a large storage chest. These delicate animals brought back a flood of happy childhood memories for her. Thanks for sharing your photo Cathy! Much appreciated…

Yet, while she dearly loved the collection for the memories… she didn’t want to display them…and instead chose to keep the set as a “digital photo” – and gave it away to a local charity for an upcoming bazaar. Now with the click of a computer mouse, Cathy can revisit her collection whenever she wants, in that digital photo…

And this one digital photo has opened up a whole new area of decluttering and organizing – called Digital Photo Organizing. At a future time, after Cathy’s move and when she is settled into her new home…we’re planning an organizing session(s), where we’ll sort and declutter of her archived and new digital photos. And together we’ll set up folders and labels on her computer to create electronic photo albums…resulting in a system for fast and easy retrieval of her photos, and those wonderful memories…
